Transport to/from Stadium
Accessible Public Transport
Please use the The Championships Journey Planner travel.wimbledon.com to choose the best mode of transport.
Southfields station (District Line) is a step-free station and is 0.9 miles from the Grounds.
Wimbledon station (District Line / South Western Railway / London Trams) is a step-free station and is 1.1 miles from the Grounds.
There is a dedicated Championships bus service from Wimbledon station going to and from the Grounds during the event. All bus services arrive and depart from Car Park 1 on Somerset Road (exit the Grounds through Gates 11a, 12 or 13).
Please note the 493 TfL bus service does not stop outside the Grounds during The Championships.
Taxis
Shared taxi services with fixed fares operate from Southfields Station (return taxis to Southfields and central London from Wimbledon Park Road – exit via Gate 1) and Wimbledon Station (return from Somerset Road rank – exit via Gate 12). Park & Ride
A Championships Park and Ride service is available at Morden Park (located on the A24, postcode SM4 5QU) charged at £20 for standard cars/minibuses or £10 for fully electric vehicles. This is open from 6.30am-11pm, with the last bus leaving the Grounds at 10pm, or at 10.40pm if there is late play on Centre or No.1 Courts.
Stadium Parking
Blue Badge Parking
Championships car parking spaces are only available by booking in advance. Car park reservations for the Championships will open in the Spring of 2026.
Blue Badge parking is free of charge.
Blue Badge Drop-off/Pick-up
There are Blue Badge drop off points by Gate 13 on Somerset Road (please approach from north, entering Somerset Road via Parkside or Burghley Road). For those prebooking taxis for departure from the Grounds, the pick-up point is on Marryat Road – see accessible map for exact locations.
Pedestrian Access
Accessibility Services kiosk & Accessibility Team
The Accessibility Services kiosk is located outside the Centre Court South West Hall.
We offer a dedicated Accessibility Team who are able to support guests with physical or hidden disabilities. The team are based at the Accessibility Services kiosk and can answer access questions you might have. You can also collect access resources here.
Arrival
All entrance gates are step-free. Please have your ticket ready in the Wimbledon App along with accompanying photo ID.

Step-free Routes
A step-free route around the Grounds is illustrated on the accessible map.
Please note that due to the nature of the Grounds, there are some steep gradients. These are also illustrated on the map
Accessible Viewing Areas
Seating
If you have specific access requirements for seating, please contact the team in advance of your visit and we will endeavour to provide suitable options. If on the day you find your seat does not meet your access requirements, please contact the team. We will always aim to provide an accessible solution, if one is available.
Wheelchair Users
Wheelchair Hire & Pushing Service
Unfortunately we do not offer a wheelchair hire or pushing service at our grounds.
Court Viewing for Wheelchair Users
Reserved spaces (ticket holders only) are available for wheelchair users on Centre Court, No.1 Court and No.2 Court.
Reserved and unreserved spaces are available for wheelchair users on No.3 Court. There are unreserved wheelchair spaces on all other courts.
Charging Points
Electric scooters and wheelchairs can be charged at the charging points located in the North East and North West Halls of Centre Court.
Wheelchair & Mobility Scooter Parking
A limited number of parking spaces for mobility scooters are available inside the Grounds. These are illustrated on the accessible map.
Folding wheelchairs may be left in a designated space at Gate 4 if arranged with a Steward or a uniformed security officer.
Sensory Room
Quiet Spaces
A Quiet Room where guests can escape the crowds around the Grounds, is available in the Southern Village.
A Family Room is available in AELTC Wimbledon Park opposite Gate 4 should you require a place to feed or relax away from the crowds.
Accessible Restrooms / Changing Rooms
Accessible Toilets & Changing Places
Accessible toilets are located throughout the Grounds and are illustrated on the accessible map signifying left-hand (LH) or right-hand (RH) transfer.
There are two Changing Places facilities on site. They are located adjacent to Court 18 on St Mary’s Walk and in the Southern Village, south of No.2 Court.
Radar Keys
Accessible toilets and Changing Places require a Radar key to access them.
Radar keys are available from the following locations:
- Security staff at the entrance to the Grounds
- The Accessibility Services kiosk
- Information points
Food & Beverage / Catering Facilities
Food & Drink
Water fountains are available throughout the Grounds. There is also a wide range of food and drink available to purchase which includes vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Find out more at: https://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/foodanddrink/index.html
Hearing / Visually Impaired Facilities
Amex Radios
Amex Radios provide live broadcast updates of action during The Championships and are available at programme kiosks around the Grounds. Guests with visual impairments can collect an Amex Radio free of charge from the Accessibility Services kiosk.
Sunflower Lanyards
At Wimbledon we understand that not all disabilities are visible. We have Sunflower lanyards available from the Accessibility Services kiosk, which can be worn to signify to staff that you may need additional assistance during the visit.
Large Print
A Large Print Accessibility Guide, including a Large Print map, is available to download at the top of this page, or you can collect one from the Accessibility Services kiosk. Induction Loops There are Induction Loops located at key points around the Grounds, illustrated on the accessible map.
Additional Information
Assistance Dogs
Certified Assistance Dogs that are trained by members of Assistance Dogs (UK) are welcomed to the Grounds and the Show Courts.
The top of The Hill has a dedicated spending area.
Unfortunately, we do not currently allow Emotional Support Animals into the Grounds. This may change in the future once UK law recognises them.
Pharmacy & First Aid
The Pharmacy is situated within Parkside on the east side of No.1 Court, near Gate 3. First aid at The Championships is provided by London Ambulance Service and Enhance Care Services.
